Sights in the City by Caleb

There was a ton of sights to see today throughout the trip. The long ride was definitely worth the wait in the end. Along the way it was mainly countryside but once we reached New York things were a bit more interesting. We saw the graffiti in the Bronx (and the rest of New York). As we entered Harlem we were able to go to the Apollo Theatre. The interior was beautiful and it was an amazing experience. Then it was off to Manhattan. We were there for some of the daylight but once nightfall came around you could see the city light up with it’s glow. It really was “The city that never sleeps.” There was traffic everywhere. The lights were bright. And the city was buzzing with business. It was really an experience (especially since I had never been in New York City before.) The city was an amazing experience and it will be nice to see what is in store for the rest of the trip.
