Although today was very rainy, I had an excellent time.
While in Philly we started off by seeing the Liberty Bell, and that followed
with other places. Then we traveled to Amish Country where we learned a lot
about their history. I learned that there was a type of Amish called the Amish
Mennonites that are freer ranged (they can drive cars). Amish people do not
watch television therefore most families have a trampoline in their backyard.
This is used as entertainment for the children. In the Amish Country (Pennsylvania)
there are only about 35 last names. The night ended with a fantastic feast of
chicken, vegetables, mashed potatoes, and dessert etc. The overall experience
was great, and I enjoyed it a lot.
